Happy New Year - Feliz año nuevo
Well I’m back home. I’d like to say to sunshine, but we’ve had a couple of days of sunshine, a lot of rain and its been blooming cold, there’s even talk of snow before the end of the week!
Thank you to everyone who managed to get along to the celebration for Mick, is was a great evening, I’m sure he would have thoroughly enjoyed it and as I look through the photos

| Celebration for Mick |
Its been really good to catch up with so many people, and to see everyone else enjoying meeting old friends again.
The FP/IT band were great, even if only Josie Bevan was dancing! Some of the guys from the Salisbury Blues Jam sessions Mick and I used to attend with Niall and Durin (and occasionally Albert) also played tribute, and Paul Bailey joined in on the harmonica!
I spent Christmas and New Year with my Mum and Dad, but in between flying into Bristol and flying out of Bournemouth I managed a mini tour of South England taking in Bristol, Salisbury, Collinbourne Kingston, Longcot, Burpham, Sevenoaks, Camelsdale and Woodfalls! So thanks to everyone for making me so welcome.
But it is good to be home again, my neighbours seem pleased to see me back and we’re all wishing each other Feliz año Nuevo. Twelfth Night was good fun as usual, trying to catch the sweets being thrown at you from the floats, if only to prevent them giving you a black eye!
See how my subscription to the Sevilla Supporters Club gets spent!

I now need to get a few more bits of painting organised, get the dining room table delivered, sort out what to do with the garden and decorate the sitting room! And the first lot of visitors arrive in February!
