We had planned to stop with Annie & John Ley in Galmpton for a couple of nights, and as an old family friend of Mick’s parents lived in Galmpton too we arranged to call in and spend a couple of hours with them. This turned out to be a very boozey four hours as Mick, David and Jean and their daughter Jan tripped down memory lane, so much so we had to leave the car, and Jan’s husband, Mike gave us a lift round the corner to Annie’s. We didn’t really need a lift as its literally only 5 minutes walk!
Monday was a beautiful sunny day, so we went to Dartmouth for the day, wandered along the quay and walked up to the castle and commented on how the world seems to be full of retired people!
